Used with the Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose meter, Accu-Chek Instant test strips are used to quantitatively measure glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood drawn from the fingertip, palm, forearm and antecubital and as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of glycaemic control.

Blood glucose measurement of venous, arterial and neonatal blood should be performed by healthcare professionals only. The system should not be used for the diagnosis of diabetes or for the testing of umbilical cord blood samples from newborns.
